CSS help – nav bar and adding more widget spaces
Using the Sela theme (https://wordpress.com/theme/sela/), and WordPress.com with a hosting company. I have 2 CSS questions:
I was able to change the menu/nav bar color at the top with the custom code found in another thread, but how can I change the colors of the menu links and rollovers (currently white and gray rollover) and the bullets in between the links (currently orange)? Can someone help me with custom code for that?
2nd question: The example Sela theme setup has 3 widget spaces under the featured image on the front page template. I am trying to add more than 3 (to link to sections of my work) – is there custom code or another way to do so? Please let me know if you need more information.
Thanks so much!!!
The blog I need help with is jenn.stolder.net.
You are using Sela on a site created with WordPress.org software, so this theme forum will be the best place to ask for advice:
The example Sela theme setup has 3 widget spaces under the featured image on the front page template.
By default, Sela supports three widgets in that area. Adding more would require creating a child theme and adding custom code — custom code is something you would need to speak to a developer about (the WordPress Professional Network is a great place to start).
Best of luck!
Thanks…yes, I started there, but will keep trying :)
and thanks again!
