Maybe it is just me, but since I have purchased my Upgrade to customise my blog and edit CSS, I haven’t been able to do any of that. I have watched tutorials online, read comments and support pages here on wordpress.com, but I just can’t find a step by step for beginners (I mean…for REAL beginners!) to implement some of the changes I’d like to apply to my blog.
The first thing would be to customise the margins: because of the theme I am using the main content (the body, I think) is aligned to the right, then on the left I have got all my Widgets, but I don’t like this layout and I would LOVE to learn how to change it by editing CSS.
Anybody willing to help? Or anybody who is experiencing the same frustration with CSS?
The blog I need help with is saturdaychat.wordpress.com.
We regular Volunteers never suggest that anyone who is not experienced with CSS editing purchase this upgrade as there is very little community support provided. There is Staff support for this upgrade but one does have to wait. Staff deal with the earliest dated threads first and there are many ahead of yours.
Note that all CSS editing is theme specific and here’s the stylesheet link https://wpcom-themes.svn.automattic.com/able/style.css
thank you for your reply, I have been probably too optimistic about it, but fortunately I have just discovered that a friend of mine is great at editing CSS, so he will help me learning the basics, lucky me!
Thank you anyway for the link you sent me!
You’re welcome and best wishes with this project.
