Culturally Discombobulated - another expat blog

  1. Hi, I've just started my blog "Culturally Discombobulated"

It's another of those expat dealing with culture shock blogs (Brit living in the US in my case). I know, not the most original of subjects, but there's just something about living in a strange, new country that is conducive to keeping a blog!

The blog I need help with is

  2. It's easy, you just check the right box.

Bit of a long one this evening. What i felt about voting in the UK elections despite being abroad.

  3. Looks as if we like to write about the same area! Come see my blog?

  4. Hi Sarah,

Thanks for commenting. Enjoyed looking through your site, have subscribed via my google reader.

Fascinated by your piece on coming across the tea party protest. I had a similar experience on April 15th, I went for a morning stroll in downtown Napa and ended up bang in the middle of a tea party protest. Will eventually get round to doing a blog post on it.

  5. A primer for Americans curious in tomorrow's UK general elction

  6. Maybe I can get some European insight with your blogs, will subscribe to you and see what's going on.

  7. Thanks midipour. The idea with the blog is more about how I've been finding living in the US (and briefly in Asia), but I got rather side-tracked with last week's UK elections. Possibly there won't be so much political content going forward, if that's what you're after.

  8. My UK election primer post was linked to by the New York Times website (which was nice). It's the British politics link about two-thirds of the way down the page.

  9. Ex-pat blog site also at :

The madness of Greece and what it does to your mind!
