Custom header for each page

Hi. I’m using the Sight theme, and I’d like to have the custom header change from page to page. Or at least, only have the custom header on the front page, so that I can individualize the sub-pages with different photos and not have a huge custom header at the top each time.

Any thoughts on how to do this?

I just checked and I see you switched to the Blissful Blog theme, do you still need help with the Sight theme or with adding a custom header to different pages on the Blissful Blog theme?

Note that a couple themes, such as Twenty Ten and Twenty Eleven, have functionality built in to allow you to use a featured image as a custom header for different posts and pages. If you are using a theme other than those, then you do need to write custom CSS for each page where you’d like to adjust the appearance of the header.

If you still need help, it would be great if you could provide a link to an example image you have uploaded to your media library and a link to the page where you’d like to add the image in the header.

I’m going to mark this topic as resolved since you changed themes and it has been over a week since the last reply. If you still need help, please provide more information and a link to the page you’re working on and mark this topic as “not resolved” or start a new help request.
