custom header with image gallery

i have a portfolio page with gallery images and a custom header inserted. when i click on the individual thumbnails, the full size image opens, however, the custom header reverts to what is on my home page (as opposed to being the same on the portfolio page).
    with sun image
    with moon image
with sun, but i’d prefer it to be moon (and apply to all thumbs – but not the pdf link at the bottom as it opens in a new window)

The blog I need help with is

    Theme – Coraline

A squeaky-clean theme featuring a custom menu, header, background, and layout. Coraline supports 7 widget areas (up to 3 in the sidebar, four in the footer) and featured images (thumbnails for gallery posts and custom header images for posts and pages). It includes styles for print and the Visual Editor, special styles for posts in “Asides” and “Gallery” categories, and has an optional full-width page template that removes the sidebar.<.blockquote>

In Coraline, Pilcrow, Twenty Ten and Vostok a featured image replaces the regular header image when you view a single post or page.

thanks for doesn’t really solve my problem…it just tells me what the theme is capable of…

how do i change the sun image on the ‘activated’ gallery page there somewhere i can access the featured image on a ‘sub’ gallery page? i’ve enabled the featured header on the page that holds the gallery proper. shouldn’t the subsequent individual gallery pages follow suit?

the featured image is being replaced by the regular header image when i’m viewing a single page…not the other way around.

    thanks again

Gallery Attachment pages do not inherit the featured image header from the Page or Post the Gallery thumbnails appear on. There’s presently no way to change this.

thanks! not the answer i was looking/hoping for..but what are you gonna do! at the very least, i can stop beating my head against the wall! lol!

I have a question about the Coraline theme too. I created an image gallery and I want to link the photos to the photo page. However, when you click on one of the pictures, you see this:

I think it has something to do with the side-bars of the Coraline theme. I’d like to see the photo on full-width of the page, just like I did with the page where the gallery belongs to.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
