The blog I need help with is

Hope this helps you: Image Settings
    or an html code ?
    <a target="_blank" href="LINK-URL"><img src="IMAGE-URL" /></a>

Hello, I have the same problem, do you already have another suggestion/solution?

The site linked to your wordpress.cOM username is not a blog. If your question does pertain to a wofree blog being free hosted by wordpress.COm then please post the URL starting with the http:// prefix.

If it’s a wordpress.ORG install you are asking about then then you are posting to the wrong forum and ought to be posting here > http://wordpress.ORG/support/

Pleas read this so you are clear about the differences >

We require that you post the complete URL for the blog in question when you post to this forum so we can be sure we are providing the correct answers. Please post the URL for the blog you are referring to starting with http://

You can definitely accomplish this. In the link @lilmaouz posted, you’ll see some instructions on adding a link (and other properties) to an image. If you do this, then make the image the featured image, this should get you where you need to be.

Try that and let me know how it goes.

Featured images play a specific, theme-dependent, function: for instance, in Structure they show up at the beginning of frontpage posts as well as in the homepage top area and link to the individual post, in 2010 they show up as alternative header images, in Modularity Lite they show up on category pages, etc. You can’t make them link to where you might want. To do that, you need regularly inserted images.

    Hello timethief,

It’s by far not finished..but see this URL:

I want the featured image to link to a specific URL so not to the blogpost as it is now.
The permanent link to the blogpost (text) can remain.

    How to do so..

That link you provided is not a blog.
There are 2 separate and different kinds of wordpress:

WordPress.ORG — self-hosted blogs using software from wp
Wordpress.COM — free blogs on a multiuser platform
    Read about the differences:

This forum is for WordPress.COM, and the forum you need is for WordPress.ORG:
