custom menu

  1. hi,I am trying to get thr custom menu activated-but wuth my thene,Hatc you are only allowed one menu-I would like to put the custom menu, either on the widget or as child pages-How to achieve that?thanks

The blog I need help with is

  2. thanks, but I read those, im still a bit confused on what to do

  3. Hi catezapp,

On the ilmondodicate blog your menu shows 7 items in the top navigation, including one item with child pages.

I'm not clear on what you want to accomplish. You use a custom menu if you want the pages to have different titles, to appear in a different order, or if you want links which go to your posts (or even to other sites online).

You can use a menu widget if you want different items (or the same ones) in your sidebar instead.

Can you specify what your goal is?

  4. Yes I have my pages at the top, and I would like to add the tags as a child page of my photogallery

  5. Then you make a custom menu so you can include those extra pages in the top navigation. It may seem redundant but in order to add those pages, you have to make a whole new menu as described in the links I gave you above. Add all of your current pages and the links to your tags.

Here is an example of a link to one of your categories:

  6. thank you,now Ive understood!
