I’ve been building a site with wordpress 3.3.1, and I have a custom menu that I’m using for the main navigation manu. I’m not sure what I might have done, but when I create a new menu, I can add items to it (Pages, categorys, etc), but when I save changes, the nesting is removed. In other words, If I set up a heirarchy with “About Us” at the root, and add “Bill” and Steve” as nested links to child pages, then click “Save”, the menu is saved with 3 root items – About Us, Bill, and Steve. I’m working with the twenty eleven theme. I tried deploying a new wordpress instance on my local pc, but the problem is still occuring.

You are in the wrong forum and need to be at WordPress.ORG, where they offer support for WP 3.3.1. Our software here is different.
