I have somehow managed to duplicate one of my pages (Photo Op) listed in my custom menu in the right hand column and can’t find any way to delete it. Would appreciate any ones help in deleting a custom menu page, just the one listed twice.
    My URL is: http://texarty.wordpress.com
    Thank you,
    Tex

The blog I need help with is texarty.wordpress.com.

I don’t see any duplicates, but you do have two very similar page, “Photo Op” and “Photol Op.”

Both actually have the same content, so just delete one of the two from the Pages section of your blog’s Dashboard.

Thank you for your response. Yes I can delete the Photo Op page but still show two listings in the menu but now minus the content. I have decided to delete the whole menu and then add the Photo Op page back in.
    Your effort is appreciated.

oops! Lost all control of menu. Dashboard Menu is grayed out and show to be no menu at all. But the Navigation bar is visible and includes the menu. The custom menu that I had in the right hand column is no longer available.
The site was working great. I had no Navigation bar menu and a custom menu in the right hank column. Now I have lost the Custom menu and cannot get rid of the Navigation bar menu.
I doubt that I have presented this problem properly but if any one has an idea of how I should proceed I would be most grateful.
    Thank you,
    Tex.

To remove a page tab from a custom menu, you don’t delete the page “from the Pages section of your blog’s Dashboard”, you remove it from the menu in Appearance>Menus.

Now, if I understand correctly, you want a custom list of pages on your sidebar and no page tabs under the header. If so, go to Appearance>Menus, create a menu, name it “Blank” or something like that, add nothing to it, click Save Menu, select it from the pulldown in the Theme Locations module, click Save; then create another menu, name it “Sidebar menu” or something like that, select the pages you want from the Pages module, click Add to Menu, click Save Menu; then go to Appearance>Widgets, add a Custom Menu widget to your sidebar, select Sidebar Menu from the pulldown, save.
