  Does anyone know how to add vertical image instead of horizontal image in my header image space.

  It depends a lot on your theme. I see that http://scalinichangingroom.wordpress.com/ is currently using the Chateau theme. Depending on how large you want a vertical image to be, one option which might would well would be to get rid of the header image and use an image widget in the sidebar instead.

  If you want to look at CSS options, can you upload the image you want to use into your media library and then post a link to it here?
