Hoping someone can help me. I just want to install the Sight theme to my blog exactly as it appears in the demo. Can someone tell me how to do that?

The blog I need help with is farfromphiladelphia.com.

I think you can hit all the main points by creating new posts with featured images, making them sticky posts, and setting up the right custom menus.

Start with this theme showcase page. It has lots of explanation about how the Sight theme works, and it links out to all the related help pages you’ll need:
    http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sight/

Pay attention to the image size requirements in the “Quick Specs” at the bottom.

    Hey hey :)

This is the sample site. I am trying to figure out how they got Pages ex “Music”, to pull all the posts on Music.

Plus within each page selected,it shows the other category names at the top of each post which when clicked pulls up the correct page….

Crazy simple BUT I can’t seem to connect it all

@electrafirestudios: That’s not the wordpress.COM version of the theme. WordPress.com demo:

But anyway, you don’t get static pages “to pull all the posts on” whatever, you create links to category pages, using a custom menu. For details on custom menus see this post of mine:

    Justpi: Thanks!!!
I wasn’t aware that wasn’t an official WP site demo.
But your link and suggestions worked like a charm!! Thanks for taking the time to reply.
