I wrote a post for daily prompt. Followed instructions and its not even showing in the daily prompt grid for today ‘Twinkle’.
The blog I need help with is joesales.wordpress.com.
Are you saying that pingbacks on the Staff blog at https://dailypost.wordpress.com/blogging-university/ are not working?
The instructions are:
To participate in Daily Prompts, simply publish a post on your own blog that responds to the prompt. Comments are always closed on prompts, but pingbacks are enabled. If you link to the prompt in your post, your post will appear in the list of responses on The Daily Post. Please follow the directions found at https://en.support.wordpress.com/comments/pingbacks/
If you’re not sure how to build a post around a writing prompt, take a look at our tips for making prompts personal. https://dailypost.wordpress.com/2014/01/08/writing-prompts/

It has nothing to do with staff blog. It has to deal with the Daily Post’s Daily Prompts. https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/twinkle/ which is the prompt for today at Daily Post. I have done daily prompts in the past so I am well aware of the instructions. I did everything correctly.
This site is a Staff blog https://dailypost.wordpress.com/ ie. Staff are the editors, admins and bloggers on that site. I tagged this thread for Staff intervention.
Hi Joe, that is indeed a blog run by the staff here at WordPress.com. We occasionally run into issues with pingbacks, so I’ll let the team know. Thanks!
