DailyMile Training Widget

I’ve read a couple of the support pages related to source code, and it looks like outside widgets are not allowed in WordPress?
In this case, I would like to add my workout widgets from dailymile.com/widgets to appear on my blog sidebar. Using the Text Widget, when I post the code, it strips the first part and just leaves a blank image. So I tried the sourcecode wrap-around trick mentioned here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/posting-source-code/ but that gave me plain text code, not showing the widget.
Am I missing something? Or is it just not possible because of the javascript?
Thanks.
The blog I need help with is roadtovalinor.wordpress.com.

The software will continue to strip the JavaScript out to preserve security and stability as this is a multiuser blogging platform. If you can locate a Flash widget then the code may be able to be changed to a gigya shortcode so you can use it. The gigya shortcode 3 – inserting Flash
Hmmm…looks like they only have the one version of the widget: http://www.dailymile.com/widgets
So looks like I have to live without it or go back to blogger. =/
Thanks for the reply!
Perhaps you can find a similar Flash widget that does the same thing rather than using that specific widget. Go back to Blogger – how sad. :(
I only say that because dailymile has two options for their widgets: 1) past the code into “wherever” or 2) and easy “Add to Blogger” button. As great as WP is, sometimes I just want to be able to do something easily without a lot of hassle.
What does the widget do?
I don’t know if you can see the dailymile.com/widgets link, but if not, I have a friend who has the widget on his blog: http://www.thebearsloft.com/
It essentially links run workout data.
Hmmm … I’m not aware of any Flash widgets that do the same as I haven’t searched for any. There a plugin for self hosted WordPress.org blogs though > http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/dailymile-widgets/faq/
You could ask DailyMile if they have a flash version, so you can adapt it for WP.com. Since there are something like 30 million blogs here, they might do it.
