Dashboard not loading

    Anyone else having this problem? It was working fine earlier but now when I log in it will not load the dashboard up, can’t figure out how to get around this to edit my blog.

    Which browser are you using?

    Log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again. This is typically due to either a corrupt cache file, or corrupt browser cookie.

    I’ve tried all that. The alternate log in page allows me to log into my account, but the admin bar isn’t loading for me.

    What browser are you using? Some people have to set their browser to Compatibility mode, whatever that is.

    I’m using Google Chrome. Two of my authors who are located across different states are using Firefox and have reported the same problem. When you initially log in with the admin bar, and type in the boxes your user name and password it usually shows you the characters you are writing. The “username” and “password” do not go away as your typing and once you log in, it stays at the regular wordpress screen.

    Here are some screen shots. The first one is where I tried entering my info to log in, you can see the text in the boxes do not go away

    The second one is after I log in, no admin bar or anything. When I log in from the alternate log in page, I can get in, but my stats do not load and nor does the admin bar

    I’ve experienced that as well with Safari Mac (text not clearing), but since I never use that login, I’ve never thought to report it.

    Have you tried a different browser such as Firefox? On firefox when I click in the box, the text grays out, and then when I start to type, it goes away and the box is clear.

    I would suggest reporting this directly to staff with the details (version of chrome, your OS and such).

    Yeah I tried on Firefox as well as Safari, same problem on all 3 browsers. I think it may have been a problem with the site as it just started working again for me and the other authors.
