    Hello,
    how can i change date format on news page from m.d.y to d.m.y

    Hi there,

    You can set your site’s date format via our classic interface.

    To access our classic interface add /wp-admin to the end of your site’s URL. Like so:

    https://mysite486.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

    From there, navigate to Settings > General in the sidebar and choose your desired format from the list of options next to Date Format.

    Let me know how that goes or if you have any extra questions.

    This format is already selected on this page. Whatever format I chose to nothing changes on the home page

    Thank you for clarifying and I’m sorry I didn’t spot that issue straight away.

    I did some digging and found that this has previously been reported back to the theme’s author, who decided against implementing a fix. The reasoning behind this decision is that there the theme was designed with a small amount of space for the date and allowing the date to be formatted could cause it to overflow that space.

    Would you consider a different theme for your site? The majority in our repository do allow dates to be formatted and you could specifically for tags that suit magazine/news sites here:

    If you let me know a little about what you’re looking for in a theme then I’d be happy to offer some specific suggestions, too.
