We can empty the whole blog for you, but that will remove all data including posts, pages, tags, categories, comments, and uploaded files.
Once deleted, the data cannot be recovered.
If you are sure you want to proceed, please reply to confirm the name of the blog you want us to empty.
Thank you for your reply.
I would like to keep the posts which are categorized.
The non-categorized posts come from a news feed and I don’t remember how to switch that off. It keeps filling my blog and now there are more than 3700 posts to delete. And that’s too much to remove manually.
I would like to switch off the automated news feed, can you tell me how to do that?
And I would like to remove the more than 3700 non-categorized posts and keep the categorized ones. Is that possible?
I removed all the posts that were uncategorized. Do you perhaps have a site set up elsewhere that connects to your WordPress.com blog and publishes those posts?
Thank you so very much!!
If I remember it correctly I used Feedly and Google Reader to collect news items on the topic cloud computing for developing countries. I cancelled all the Google Reader subscriptions and emptied the Feedly, but the posts kept coming. And I don’t remember any more if it was a link setting I made in WordPress or not.
Do you know where I can see in WordPress which websites are linked to my WordPress page?
It’s not possible to see this in your WordPress.com. As far as I can see there are no new posts. Feel free to let us know if new posts automatically are published again.
All right! I will do that.
Thank you for all your help!
Unfortunately I noticed that new posts are again automatically published. I also noticed that they all come from the same source. I think it is connected to the rss feed with all the news from globalvoices.org. But I can’t figure out where I can change this setting.
There are no apps in MyApps list and I have changed my password.
Ok. Hopefully the password change prevents any other software to automatically publish posts.
Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.
