Deleted blog still around

  1. Hi,

I hope this hasn't been asked before - I just didn't know what to search for.

I recently deleted a blog page called oslobudgetstudent.wordpress com (student in singular), and created another blog called oslobudgetstudents.wordpress (plural).

Unfortunately the old blog can still be chosen as "main blog", and appears in google. How can I get totally rid of it?

PS: I can't help but quip that this is the total opposite of never getting it back!

The blog I need help with is

  2. timethiefmedia

Google and Bing only flush their caches of indexed information that produces 404 (page not found) after deletion every 3 - 6 months. Some other search engines never clear their caches at all.

  3. - is alive and well - created July 4, 2012 but has no content - good name - keep it - leave it blank or put a "we have moved" notice on the front page

  4. That's probably a good tip, I'd like to do that. How can I edit it if I have deleted it though? Either I have to wait 6 months, or it stays forever and I can't edit it!

It hasn't been deleted. You can log-in to it and change the privacy setting

Note: You have to be logged in under the username account that registered that blog and has Admin status on that blog.

  7. That's great news! Ok, I must be really slooow, how can I log into a blog I can only find in the "primary blog tab". In the dashboard of the current adress? Thanks for speedy help!
