Deleting a blog
I wanted to try WP out before I switched over from Blogspot. Now that I’m more used to it, I imported my blogspot content to a new blog but want to delete the ‘practice’ blog. How do I do that?
The blog I need help with is margotes21.wordpress.com.
To permanently delete your blog, please follow this guide:
Please read the warnings and advice before deleting a blog. We can’t revert blog deletion for any reason.

I initially set up a blog and accidentally requested a dot com address. I now appear to have a dot com site – which I don’t want and haven’t paid for. I created a new blog with the free wordpress address. If I delete the dotcom blog (which now appears to be my main website address) will I lose the new blog that I have created?
@smedleygeorgeradar You only have a domain mapping upgrade at WordPress.com, the domain itself is registered elsewhere. You can cancel the domain mapping upgrade at https://smedleygeorgeradar.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=my-upgrades . It won’t affect your blog content.
Thank you for this speedy reply. I understand the domain mapping process and my domain (smedleyradar.com) is indeed registered elsewhere. I have now canceled the dmain mapping or the time being. But I still appear to have smedleyradardot.com.wordpress.com as a blog site. It is this one that I want to delete. Is it possible to delete this blog address without losing smedleygeorgeradar.wordpress.com
Apologies if this sounds a little confusing!
I’ve just removed the ‘smedleyradardotcom’ blog for you. Your other blog is still active.
Please let us know if you need any further assistance!
You are fantastic! Thanks very much!!
