    Hello!

I somehow changed the colour/background settings of the first blog theme that I created and since I couldn’t figure how to get back to the original background image I created another blog page. However I would like to remove the first page that I created ( if that makes any sense)

    Can someone advise?

The blog I need help with is sibcherry.wordpress.com.

All backgrounds are set up here > Appearance > Background and that can be accessed directly from your dashboard without using the theme customizer which is only required if you have a custom design upgrade. All backgrounds set there, whether colors or images are displayed on each and every page in the blog. Hope this helps.

Sorry, but nothing matched your search criteria. Perhaps searching will help you find what you are looking for.

That error message can easily be addressed. Publish a post and it will be gone. By default the front page of your blog displays all posts (not pages) in reverse chronological order, with the most recently published post on top. The 404 (page not found) error message on the front page of the blog appeared because the Admin of the blog deleted the placeholder Hello World post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/

Hi and thanks for the quick response..I think I actually just deleted this blog and things are back to normal….thanks for pointing out where the background /appearance settings are….Just before deleting the blog, I tried reverting to the original theme ‘background image’ and it wasn’t available under these options either….so deleting seemed the fastest solution..

Deleting a blog is never a solution to anything you experience.

All you had to do was to remove the color here > Appearance > Background and the Matala graphics would have appeared again.

Thanks again, I will keep that in mind, I am fairly new to setting up blogs and since I had just started this particular blog and there was no content to be lost, it made sense to start over, especially after I spent some time trying to work this out yesterday night.
