I currently have my domain (www.faunaandflora.org) connected to my blog http://www.faunaandflora.wordpress.com. I have been redesigning another website for the same blog with wordpress.org, self-hosted in another domain.
Now that the website is ready I would like to delete my current blog so that the domain its free and I can install wordpress.org in http://www.faunaandflora.org and transfer all the information and styling I have in the other domain.
It is a bit difficult to explain, I am sorry.
Can you help me please? I have tried to delete the blog. When I access my FTP faunaandflora.org I can’t delete the directories and clear the website. Because of that I did not want to install wordpress and transfer the correct information and styling.
Blog url: http://faunaandflora.wordpress.com/
The blog I need help with is faunaandflora.org.
Your domain, faunaandflora.org, is pointing to a site that’s hosted elsewhere at this time.
I wouldn’t recommend deleting http://faunaandflora.wordpress.com — your best bet would be to set it as private, just in case you need to retrieve the content later:
You can find instructions on moving your content to a self-hosted WordPress.org installation here:
If you need further help setting up the WordPress software, you can visit the WordPress.org codex and forums:
