design tools page not loading
Can anyone help me with this? I have done everything suggested in similar threads. i.e. cleared cache, checked for a static page. And still when I want to try a new theme the design tools page does not load. What is weird another blog of mine works just fine. So where could the problem lie?
The blog I need help with is bezego.wordpress.com.
When using the theme customizer please be sure you are using one of the browsers and versions found here http://browsehappy.com and also be sure you have enabled third party cookies. http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
NOTE: You do not use the theme customizer. All of the very same functions can be accessed from your dashboard.
Appearance > Header
Appearance > Background
Appearance > Theme Options (applicable only to some themes)
Settings > Reading (set a static front page)
Site Title and Tagline > Settings > General
Do understand that no changes you try out aside from those such as Custom Background, Custom Header and Theme Options which are stated on the theme description pages for each theme will be visible to visitors unless you purchase an annually renewable custom design upgrade?
Thank you but I am not sure I understand your answer. Perhaps I was not clear about my question :)
What I meant was that when I go into “appearance” and then “themes” I am unable to activate “life preview”. This is when the page “loading design tools” appears and never ever goes away. Does it have anything to do with “theme customizer”? I have never actually accessed it. I always use the dashboard just as you said.
Also my other blog works just fine – so there must be something wrong with this particular blog.
Is there anything I can do to correct it?
Please do some troubleshooting and report back.

If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com please do these four things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache:

3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
4. Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
If it’s still happening, let us know exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/ and also post any error reports you get.
Thank you but I am pretty sure my browser is ok – since my other blog is working just fine. Am I wrong?
I am using Chrome 26 :)
I do not experience the issue you report. I don’t know if you have a browser related issue or not and until you go through that checklist and report back neither I nor Staff have anything to suggest.

Thank you. I have done them all and didn’t work. However the problem seems to be solved. In case someone else experiences something similar – my router failed to connect me with DSN or something along this line (sorry not a technical type). My internet provider has just repaired it. I don’t know whether it is a coincidence or not but now I can load any theme I want!
