didn't receive sms verification code for login

  1. I can't login using as user solidsnake99 because I didn't receive sms verification code. The last number shown in the page is the correct phone number. I'm sure my phone is active and able to receive sms. What should I do to resend sms notification?

  3. Just tried login to WordPress again, thinking it will resend verification code after some timeout period but no sms received.

  4. Hi there,

It doesn't appear that the account solidsnake99 has SMS account information enabled.

If you are having trouble logging into that account, please use our password recovery form:

  5. Hi, thank for the response. Whenever I'm trying to login to my blog dashboard (, it still asking me for verification code. I've entered the right password and even reset my password. But it still asking for verification code that was supposed to be sent to my mobile phone. By the way, my phone is able to receive sms verification codes from other sites (such as Facebook and Google). Would you help me to disable the sms verification code? I don't have any backup codes, never thought this will happen.

  6. And about this: "It doesn't appear that the account solidsnake99 has SMS account information enabled."

When trying to login from this link, I was entering the correct password and in the next step, the following text appears: "Please check your text messages at the phone number ending with 0108 and enter the verification code."

I believe the account has two step authentication turned on.

  7. Two-step authentication is different from having an SMS number for account verification.

This is information about SMS recovery:

    And this is Two-step authentication:

If you are trying to access your account and two-step authentication is not functioning, please contact us via our account recovery form directly:

  8. Thank for the explanation. After reading those articles, I'm sure I'm not doing SMS recovery, but I'm using two-step authentication via sms (I'm not using two-step authentication via Google Authenticator, barcode, or key).

I've filled a recovery request before and I've just created another one. Hope someone will investigate it.

    Thank you for your help.
