Disable autoupdating of the language file

  1. Hi all,

So, i'm using wordpress with my own Georgian translation (!not current one - placed on wordpress site)

Problem: after some times my language file is updated automatically with language file from the wordpress site
Question: how can i avoid this (autoupdating of the language file)?

Also, is it possible to use my translation on site?

The blog I need help with is

  2. Why don't you simply join Georgian translation team so that maybe your translations will be used in official one?

  3. i tried - no way
    1. there is only link at WordPress in Your Language for Georgian
    and link is dead
    2. as for translation in repository - let's say - its not very bad
    3. as for "Teams Currently Forming" - its empty also

anyway - _forcing_ official language version seems wrong to me

  4. You have several links to .ORG - which probably means: this site is for support of sites hosted on WordPress.COM. You should address your questions to WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using:

    For more on the difference:

The site linked to your name is empty - if you have a question about a WordPress.COM hosted site please leave the URL beginning with http before we can help

  5. oops, i never knew about difference between org & com (wordpress - i mean)

  6. good luck

  7. @giasher: .org translators have a meeting place, too:

  8. that sounds good friends !!! good luck !!!
