Display issues – IE6
Our blog displays properly in Firefox, Chrome, IE8 and other browsers, but some people still using IE6 see the left side widgets and the right side widgets on top of the main body which is located in the center. I’m at a loss to figure out what to do – can anyone help?
The blog I need help with is dallascompanionanimalproject.wordpress.com.
Microsoft the creators of IE6 no longer support IE6. All web developers who struggled for years to make sites compatible with what’s considered to be the dog of all browsers no longers support IE6. WordPress.com has not supported it IE6 or IE7 for some time now and as you can see here (scroll down to Goodbye, IE6) you are not going to achieve compliance > http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2011/05/19/just-write/
These are the current IE browser use stats: http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_explorer.asp

P.S. Please either link your blog to your username or provide an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question when posting to these forums. Here’s how to link your username to your blog in your blog Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Primary Blog‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes. Then every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.
