Do bloggers retain the copyright for everything they publish on WordPress?

I have several fundamental questions about the costs and limitations of using wordpress.com or wordpress.org: #1) Do authors who publish on either of these sites retain the copyright to their work? Other than the permission granted WordPress to electronically publish a blogger’s articles, essays, short stories, and poetry, are any other rights transferred to WordPress once a blogger uploads his or her work to these sites? Once published here, can I choose to move my articles, etc. to any other site or publish them traditionally any time I wish without asking WordPress’s permission, paying an additional fee, or taking the matter to court? Where on this site can I find this copyright and use agreement clearly spelled out? (Thank you for taking the time to answer! :))

The blog I need help with is strry2night.wordpress.com.

Yes. Copyright is vested in the creator at the time of creation. It remains with the creator unless or until they provide permission for use and that not a concern here at all. The Terms of Service are here http://wordpress.com/tos/

The support docs are all at http://support.wordpress.com where the searchbox works very well.
Type in copyright and click the search link https://en.support.wordpress.com/?s=copyright
    Results https://en.support.wordpress.com/copyright-and-the-dmca/
    Happy blogging!
