Do Premium plan posts show in WP Reader?

  1. If I upgrade to the Premium WP package, do posts continue to show up in the WP Reader? I understand that self-hosted blog posts don't show in the Reader, so want to confirm the answer for WP hosted blogs.

    Thank you!

  2. You need not necessarily upgrade to the WordPress.com Premium plan for your posts to show up on the WordPress.com Reader.

Your blog posts will show up on the WordPress.com Reader for those users who follow your blog (using WordPress.com Reader, not the email subscription).

You can learn more about WordPress.com Reader and how it works here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/reader/

It helps to make proper use of tags. If your content is of high quality, it is likely to be selected for being featured on WordPress.com Discover too. "Discover is a destination site showcasing the best content published with WordPress, including daily editors’ picks, recommended sites, and weekly features."

Actually, this is possible too. You can follow any non-WordPress.com site too on the WordPress.com Reader. See how you can do it here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/reader/#finding-and-following-blogs (You will have to make use of the Manage button next to Followed sites section)

I hope this helps clarify things. Feel free to get back if you have questions related to WordPress.com account and WordPress.com sites and I will be keen on helping you through it!
