We live in China and apparently after a month with no problems, the blog has now been blocked. I was wondering if I purchased the domain, would it get through the firewall? This is so frustrating. Appreciate the help!

The blog I need help with is ourchinawok.wordpress.com.

    No, that won’t help.

Your best shot is to use the link maxmanx gave you in the other thread you posted.
The following link provides a list of some options that you may be able to explore and/or use: http://www.randomwire.com/how-to-bypass-the-great-firewall-of-china

Hi, my only problem is that I cannot access that link. It is blocked here as well. I am looking for other options!

You could try searching the internet. Maybe one the suggestions here will work for you. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Firewall_of_China

Thanks for all the help. I do have a VPN and it works sometimes and doesn’t at others. My blog is working again and I think that since there was a holiday this last weekend, they had done something to put stronger filters. Many people off work means more people online. It is cleared up now and hopefully in the future, we can recognize when this kind of thing happens. I appreciate your help!!

Purchasing a domain will make no difference at all.

The difference in access doesn’t depend on the blog, really. It depends on the way the reader looks at the blog.
