Doesn't let me managage my domain

  1. Despite having a receipt for purchase, when I try to add an email to the domain it tells me I don't have "access to verify the domain in question" Any thoughts?

  2. This is clearly an individual issue -is there any way of talking with support at wordpress?....

  3. Hi there, does not provide email hosting but you can sign up for Google Apps and use their email service (Gmail) or you can use your existing email service. See >

  4. This is a peer support forum. Here Volunteers and Staff work cooperatively to deliver support. Here Volunteers answer most questions and Staff monitor. When Volunteers cannot provide the required support we flag threads for Staff attention. If the information at the link I posted above doesn't provide what you need, then as you have purchased an upgrade you can contact Staff directly using this link

  5. ps I purchased the domain directly from wordpress

  6. Understood. However, that doesn't change the fact that does not provide an email service for domains. You can sign up for Google Apps and use their email service (Gmail) or you can use your existing email service instructions here >

  7. I wasn't clear. I purchased the domain. It doesn't show up on my upgrades page. The only place it appears is in my billing history.

Also - thanks for the support link but it just takes me to the generic page where I first submitted this question.

  8. I understand that WordPress doesn't supply email services. I found the issue when I was trying to hook up the gmail service.

  9. Hi again,
Thanks for posting more information. I flagged this thread for Staff assistance. They will help you sort this. Please be patient while waiting.

  10. Thanks

  11. There's a considerable backlog of flagged threads for Staff so I recommend subscribing to the RSS feed in the sidebar of this thread. Then you will be aware when Staff posts into it.

  12. Thanks!

  13. Hello. Can I get a time estimate for this? Or is there a more formal process for addressing the issue? Thanks.

  14. Specifically, which domain name are you referring to?

  15. You're all fixed up now. Sorry for the trouble!

  16. Thank you!

  17. You're welcome!
