Domain Expiration

  1. My domain has expired as of Feb 3 due to an error on my part. There is no information on your site that tells me what the actual steps are to get this domain back. My mistake was to not have it registered for automatic renewal and it was a bit of confusion between this site and another domain I own. Please inform me of what I need to do to rectify this mistake.     What do you see at

    Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades?
    Dashboard >> Store >> Billing History?

    That should tell you what has renewed and the status -

    I have flagged this for the staff to review your account

    It does not look like you have the correct Primary Domain set.


  3. I went in and changed the primary domain back to the WordPress one ( When I went to the original primary I was notified that the domain had expired. The "My Upgrades" also shows that this domain has expired as of Feb 3.

  4. Once a domain name registration has expired beyond a few days you need staff help to renew it - when the staff reviews your account they can also help you renew the domain name

  5. I am trying to find out how to access the staff help mentioned in the quote you have here. When you mentioned flagging this does that mean I will be contacted by someone who can help me through the process? Thank you for your quick replys.

  6. With expired domains the staff sends an email with the renewal info to the email of record for the domain name - they also reply in this thread so you know that you should have received an email - the staff do monitor the forums - but I don't know their schedule

  7. Thanks for the direction. I got things ironed out. The email was sent to an address that I don't access regularly (but will now :) ). I renewed and the domain is up and running again.
