My domain quit working TODAY. It is not supposed to expire until July 2020. I have been using it with Shopify for the last year and today it quit working. Please help asap.
The blog I need help with is lillybugart.wordpress.com.
Your domain lillybugart.com expired on July 29. We sent several email warnings before it expired.
Domain expiration is a lengthy and complicated process that takes about 90 days. You can learn more about expired domains here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/
The good news is that we are still able to recover your domain, as it is currently in the Grace period: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/#grace-period
You’ll need to pay the regular $18 renewal price before we can recover the domain.
I have sent a payment request for the total of $18 to the email address on your account. Once the payment is received, we will send a note to our domain partner regarding lillybugart.com. This process only takes about 2-3 days start to finish.
Please hurry though, as will enter the Redemption period next if not renewed soon: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/#redemption-period
I have contacted our domain partner, and we’ll let you know as soon as the domain has been recovered.
OMG. Thank you SO much!!! I just paid for it and I have it back!!!
That is great!!! Seriously thank you for all your help
We’ll be in touch as soon as we hear back from them. Cheers :)
Good news! We’ve successfully restored the domain back to your site, and it is now working as below:
This is great news.
However, I need to transfer it to my Shopify site and I am getting this message:
Due to recent contact information updates, this domain has a transfer lock that expires on November 8, 2019. Learn more.
How do I fix this???
It’s not possible to transfer the domain for 60 days when updating details associated with it as you have described. So, what you can do instead is point the domain to your Shopify site. Ask them what name servers you should use.
