Domain expired and I can't log-in to my blog to renew

    Hi there! I really need some help. My domain expired for justbeginfromhere.com (beginfromhere.wordpress.com). I am trying to log-in to my WordPress acct for this blog, but when I get in, my profile is just generic – there is no history of my blog anywhere!

    It says my domain expired 17 days ago so I don’t know if I’m still in a grace period, but I would greatly appreciate any assistance. Thank you!!!

    The blog I need help with is justbeginfromhere.com.

    As we all receive multiple prompts to advise of us of impending renewable dates so we don’t end up with expired domains I think you would do well to refresh your mind regarding the options.

    Thanks, timethief – I’m not sure I understand what you mean re: “refresh your mind regarding the options” … ? This was a blog that unfortunately I hadn’t been paying much attention to (obviously) so didn’t realize this had happened. All I need now is to be able to get into my dashboard for this blog – right now I am receiving a message that I don’t have access and need an administrator to “invite me” back in. Thank you!

    You need to be logged in as the EXACT account / user that owns the Upgrades to renew them –

    is there another account / name that you might have used to buy the upgrades?

    No, my username had just been my first name. I entered it exactly as I had it when I set it up and it read my password as invalid so I did a password change. Now, I have an account but it is completely generic and wiped clean of any trace of having a blog. I do have a 2nd WP blog (speakyourmindgreetings.com) that I can still get into, no problem. I wish that someone at WP could go in through the backdoor and reset me somehow.

    Sorry on the wrong term – I should have said Account – “beginfromhere”

    There is an account “beginfromhere” that seems to have about the right time frame (created in May of 2012) to have created a blog here then after a few weeks bought a domain name that is now expiring

    Your account “melisalunt” is not old enough to have an expired domain with it ( created in July of 2012) – so any upgrades on the “melisalunt” account would not have expired yet, but would be up for renewal

    Since @timethief has flagged this for the staff to help they can look at the Upgrade owner and help sort it out for you (I can’t see who owns the upgrades)

    Thank you so much for taking the time to get back to me – it is greatly appreciated. I (as is probably obvious) have no idea what I’m doing in the technical sense, and am feeling quite lost. Yes, that would’ve been me (I set up the blog in May of 2012).

    Thanks for the avatar compliment. I’m vain and removing dark under eye circles and wrinkles from images makes an amazing difference. lol :D It’s like going back in time.

    A different WordPress.com account was used to register this domain — you need to be logged in to the same WordPress.com account in order to renew the domain upgrade.

    To help you regain access to your account and renew the domain, we will need to discuss some private information via email.
