  4. Hi there, it looks like you cancelled your domain, is that correct?

Canceling a domain after 2 days of purchase means you completely give up ownership of the domain. There is no guarantee the domain will become available to re-register after cancellation.

Since it sounds like you still want to use your domain with Blogspot, I've requested that your domain be restored to your account so you won't lose it.

Once the domain is back on your account, I suggest one of these two options:

    1) You are welcome to keep your domain with us, renewing it and and updating its settings to point the domain to Blogspot, by following this guide:

We can assist you in making the necessary changes in your domain manager if you wish.

    2) After 60 days from the date of the last registrant contact information change, you may also transfer your domain to another registrar by following this guide:

If you decide you don't want to keep the domain after all, and want to completely cancel your ownership of the domain name, please reply to confirm and I'll be glad to re-cancel it for you.

If you need any help or have any questions, just let me know.

  5. One further clarification - in order to transfer the domain (option #2) you'll first need to renew it, as the domain manager where you'll initiate the transfer is not accessible when a domain has expired.

  6. hai kathrynwp,

Thanks a lot for your explanation.

First of all, yes, ive cancelled my domain registered via wordpress with assumption, once ive cancelled it, i can reuse the domain via blogspot.
For your info, my domain already expired on 14 March 2013 (1 year subs)

YES im interested to go with suggested option no 1.
(this mean i can keep my domain, manage the domain via wordpress & keep on doing my posting via blogspot, am i correct?)

    So then,

    1) what should i do now to make the domain restore back to my account?

    2) may i have an assistance on how to point the domain to my blogspot ( / can u do it for me?

    3) should i renew the domain via wordpress or blogspot?

  7. Hi there,

    1) what should i do now to make the domain restore back to my account?

I'm just waiting to hear back from our domain registrar partner to confirm that your domain hasn't yet been released, and that it can be un-cancelled and restored to your account. As soon as I get word, I'll let you know.

    2) may i have an assistance on how to point the domain to my blogspot ( / can u do it for me?

Certainly - I'll be glad to help you out once the domain is back on your account.

    3) should i renew the domain via wordpress or blogspot?

It'll need to be renewed through WordPress. I'll let you know as soon as you can go ahead.

  8. Hi there, the domain has been restored to your account so you should now be able to renew it. Just let me know when that's done and I'll try to help you get it pointed to your Blogspot site.

  9. For final clarification.

    WordPress add : (View A)
    Blogspot add : (View B)

once im done with those renewing and pointing process, the view for my is View A or View B?

Sorry im a bit confused here. My original intention is to view all my post at Blogspot, by using the domain, not each time people type it then redirect me to my WordPress post.

    Thanks in advance :)

  10. Hi there, you'll need to go ahead and renew your domain before I can assist in pointing to

Just as a heads-up, since expired 7 days ago, you only have a few more days to renew it without a $80 late fee being automatically applied. More about domain expiration.

Please let me know when you've renewed it.

  11. Just 1 last question, if its expired.... doest it means the domain will be opened to public back? and anyone is feel free to use my domain?

the domain will remain registered but just expired for me to use?

  12. oowhh ... ok.. ive got the answer alredy.
just read the link u gave.

will update u once ive renew it
