Domain forwarding (not mapping per se)

    Hey everyone,

I have a blog hosted by bluehost (choose because wordpress recommend them as the top host and so that wordpress would get a kickback from my service charges) and it is a wordpress blog obviously. My question is: I don’t want to map the domain I have back to the original wordpress blog. I want the visitors to the mydailymazur.wordpress.com blog to be forwarded to the “real” blog that’s updated and what-not on my bluehost site (www.thedailymazur.com). I have to have a wordpress account to use some of the jetpack features that are installed on my blog but I don’t want the confusion of having multiple blogs with the same name – especially when only one is being updated! Hope there is a fix for this because I’m out about $100 at this point using this software and this host…

    Thank you everyone!

The blog you specified at http://www.thedailymazur.com does not appear to be hosted at WordPress.com.

This support forum is for blogs hosted at WordPress.com. If your question is about a self-hosted WordPress blog then you’ll find help at the WordPress.org forums.

If you don’t understand the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, you may find this information helpful.

If you forgot to include a link to your blog, you can reply and include it below. It’ll help people to answer your question.

You can use the site redirect upgrade to redirect all visitors to the wordpress.com site to your new self-hosted site.
