I want to change the nameservers to a domain bought from Automattic and when I press ok, the form just resets.
The nameservers are good because i use them on other domains from godaddy.

I send them an email but it takes too long to respond.

    Any suggestions?

The blog I need help with is fanfotbal.org.

Nothing except wait for a staff response. We really don’t have anything to do with domain management in the forum.

Are you sure that you still own the domain name?

Then I’m afraid you just have to wait for staff to get back to you. Email is NOT a good way to get their attention: send them a ticket via http://support.wordpress.com/contact

5 hours is NOTHING, particularly on a long weekend.

Unfortunately, the nameserver change form comes from our domain provider and we don’t have the ability to make changes to it directly.

We are checking into it and will have it back up and running as soon as is possible.

I understand, but they have this ability, I emailed Automattic severel times but no answer. I guess, as long as you pay for 3 years ahead they don’t really care that much. Now I’m trying to transfer to other registrar, but I made a small change to contact information, and I have to wait for 60 days.

I transferred my all domains to another registrar,l mainly to keep my wordpress domains and others together. I believe that registrars are obliged to act on transfer requests within a certain time so this might be a quicker way to get a resolution.

Just received an email from Automattic | WordPress.com.

    Hi,
I just wanted to send you an update regarding your report that you have been unable to update the name servers for your domain. We have been working with our domain provider Wild West Domains on this problem and they have been trying to get it fixed. They’ve told me that there is an update ready to go, and it should get deployed some time today (hopefully sooner rather than later!).

I’m very sorry for the inconvenience, and we will send you another update as soon as we have more information or when we can confirm the problem has been fixed.

Let’s see what they mean by “today”…

@hewsut I received from you (wordpress) but nothing from automattic. I submited tons of tickets here http://automattic.com/contact/

Emails to that address won’t find their way into the Support queue. Technical issues really need to be sent using the contact form here: http://support.wordpress.com/contact/

    WordPress.com is run by Automattic.

Let’s see what they mean by “today”…

Our domain provider has responded and told us that they are currently working on the problem. We are not happy with this feature bring broken at this time either and are doing everything we can to get it back up and running as soon as possible.
