domain hosting

I have a domain, hosted through bluehost.com. I don’t need all the bells and whistles and would just like to use my custom domain… but have it hosted with wordpress.com with those features.

Is this the same as remapping the domain?

Will wordpress.com essentially be “hosting” the website?

    Thanks.

The blog I need help with is www.burtsboutique.com.

    Not “remapping”

you need to move the contents to WordPress.COM, then map your custom domain name, and make arangements for email if you use custom email with the custom domain name

    Move a Blog

PS – also read the Terms of Service – bit different here – you can’t sell your own ads and such on WordPress.COM

    I see. Thank you.

I’ve been looking to lower the cost of the website as I really don’t use the shopping cart feature. This may be an option but I’d also loose the ability to customize it.

You can use a contact form and then PayPal for payments – you make your custom furniture so i would think that not a lot of projects are done so should not be a big loss – and yes the hosting here is easy

selling items you make yourself is fine
