Or does it have to be a domain.com? July 27, 2007 at 10:25 pm #128579 timethiefMember Perhaps the answer can be found here FAQs http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/11/10/domain-mapping/ or here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=4766 July 27, 2007 at 10:27 pm #128581 cornellMember There’s nothing in that FAQ entry (I checked) but there may well be something in the forum thread TT posted. I seem to remember that only selected domain options (.com .net .org etc) are available although I do sit to be corrected. My eyesight is so bad today that I couldn’t read through them and I didn’t know you already had. :( July 27, 2007 at 11:25 pm #128604 weirdscienceMember I imagine an eu one is perfectly fine. it does not have to be a .com..that I do know b/c I have a .ca the only issue is if you want wordpress to register AND host the domain..then you are limited..I ideally would have liked to have done both with wordpress but they don’t do the .ca ones.
