Domain Mapping Issues
I had purchased the domain affiknity.com through WordPress, as part of Domain Mapping purchase. As part of the latest renewal in January 2019, a dispute was raised and the payment was reversed. Due to this, my blog affiknity.wordpress.com is no longer mapped to affiknity.com.
I have paid the chargeback of USD 15. Now I want to restore the domain mapping, but when I try to ‘use the domain I own’, I am unable to use affiknity.com as I get an error ‘This domain is still active and is not available to map yet. Please try again later or contact support.’
The blog I need help with is affiknity.wordpress.com.
Hi @affiknity ,
I’m going to tag this for staff to look into for you.
How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question?
Hope it is resolved soon.
Thanks for paying the chargeback fee. The original payment has been reversed so I’ve sent a payment request for the domain, to the email address on your Account Settings page. If you reply here once that has been paid, we can restore affiknity.com back to affiknity.wordpress.com.
This domain is still active and is not available to map yet
affiknity.com is registered through WordPress.com and mapping is for cases where a domain is already registered through another provider. Disputing the payment issued a chargeback which removed affiknity.com from your site but we can add it back again once your payment has come through.
Hi! I have made the payment. Can you please restore the mapping?
Thanks for paying so quickly. I’ve restored affiknity.com back to affiknity.wordpress.com for you:
Can you please restore the mapping?
You registered the domain through WordPress.com, rather than purchasing a domain mapping upgrade :)
Please let me know if you need any further help.
Thanks for such a quick response and action. I can see affiknity.com is alive and kicking. Thanks once again.
Glad it’s all worked out! :)
You’re very welcome, glad to have helped!
