domain mapping refund for terriadevries.com
Trying to get a refund on domain mapping
The blog I need help with is termeldev.wordpress.com.
Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrades, you can request a refund > Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades
WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.
Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrades, you can request a refund yourself directly from the Store section of your Dashboard
Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.
I tried the store–>my upgrades–> thing and it won’t work. I cancelled the domain name with dreamhost and now because it doesn’t exist I can’t log into the terriadevries.com site nor will wordpress allow me into the my upgrades site to let me cancel.
Not to worry, as Staff can remove the domain mapping for you and I tagged this thread for their assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.
I checked our records, and the domain terriadevries.com is not mapped to any WordPress.com blogs. We also do not have any record of a domain mapping upgrade on your WordPress.com account. Are you sure that this blog was hosted here at WordPress.com?
The WordPress.com blog linked to your account can be accessed at its free WordPress.com address here: http://termeldev.wordpress.com/
Please let me know if you have any questions about this!
I purchased a domain name through dreamhost on Saturday. There were some complications, so I went to WordPress to see if I could access it through you. Dreamhost didn’t allow me to do what I needed to connect to you, and I had already paid you the $13 fee through Paypal for the domain mapping. So I canceled my domain name through dreamhost and then tried to cancel the $13 fee from WordPress. My paypal account shows the charge has been made, but since I can’t access the domain name, I’m trying to get a refund. The Paypal account is under my name, Terri DeVries. That’s my dilemma–it seems to be a vicious cycle.
I have sent you an email so we can discuss the details of this transaction privately. Please reply to that email so we can continue looking for this transaction and issue your refund.
If you don’t receive the email, please reply here to let me know. Thanks!
