  Hi. I have a currently have a domain (yagnaram.com) which redirects to jnanadipena.wordpress.com, but I want to redirect it to a new wordpress site I’m building, yagnaram.wordpress.com. I’m not entirely sure how to do this. My original thought process was to cancel my renewal so that I could just buy the domain for my new site, but I’m receiving an “This upgrade cannot be cancelled” message.

  NEVER CANCEL A RENEWAL IF YOU WANT THE NAME!!!!

  You can transfer the domain mapping to another blog here if you want

  I will also flag this for the staff to help if you need more assistance

  but you should be able to transfer the domain mapping easily – sometimes staff help is needed however
