    Where do I do this?

1.Update your domain’s name servers to the following: NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

    It says this:

To Set Nameservers for a Domain Name Registered with Us
1.Log in to your Account Manager.
    2.Next to Domains, click Launch.
3.Select the domain name(s) you want to modify.
    4.From (Nameservers), select Set Nameservers.
    5.Select one of the following:

But the Nameservers option is grey and I cant click it.

  5. Have you purchased the Domain Mapping Upgrade?

I thought WordPress was for free and I just neede to but a domain name..

  8. No you need the domain mapping upgrade. WordPress.com is only free if you use the basic .wordpress.com name. Since you have already brought your domain follow the instructions for mapping an existing domain.

Ah ok I understand. Thanks for you help so far though!!

  12. If you don't get any luck here try godaddy's forums or start a new thread with a title like "cannot set WordPress Nameservers in Godaddy"!
