Domain name retrieval
I think My domain name expired and I want to get it back ASAP. Can you please help me see if that’s possible?
The blog I need help with is thejadeleaf.wordpress.com.
thejadeleaf.comhas already been removed from our system and is currently in redemption with our registrar. It is still possible for me to recover the domain at this point, but our registrar charges an $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption. Let me know if you agree to that fee and I can get the recovery process started.
Ok, I’ll pay the fee.
Please help me get the recovery process started.
Good Morning –
I’ve just emailed you the payment form. Please submit that payment and write back to us here once you have done so. Once that payment has been received we can proceed with contacting our domain partner about the restoration of thejadeleaf.com.
I see that the same thing happened last year. Please consider putting a card on file to prevent this redemption process as it is quite expensive.
I have made the payment.
Yes, this has happened before and thanks for your suggestion. These emails are going to an old email address that I no longer use. How can I update my contact email address?
I have contacted our registrar partner, and we’ll let you know as soon as the domain has been recovered.
Also, you can update your account’s email address at https://wordpress.com/me/account
ok, Thank you.
Its strange I’m not able to type into any of the fields within the link you sent me.
The username field is disabled, but you should be able to type into the email field. Can you please take a screenshot of that page and upload it to your Media Library so I can have a look? Here’s how to take a screenshot:
when I try to open my site the page never loads.
To be more specific about when I’m try to type in the email field, the box around it turns red and I’m not able to actually type anything in the field. In addition, the “save account settings” box is not illuminated / active so I’m unable to select it
Thanks for your help!

I would like to set myself up for automatic reoccurring payment through paypal. If I go ahead and make a payment through the screen in the screenshot below, will the payment roll over to next year and set me up for automatic reoccurring payment for the following years?
,Thanks in advance
Yes, that should set you up for auto-renewal. However, please post again on this thread once payment is made and we can double check to make sure.
