    Ok, so I recently added ericginnard.com as my primary web address about an hour ago. I went through my registrar’s site, Namecheap.com, and added the list servers, and purchased the actual domain mapping on WordPress. I’ve done everything according to the instructions, but when I type in my site, or try to view it through the dashboard, I receive the notice that “the website was not found.” I use chrome if that makes any difference. Can someone please tell me what is going on?

    The blog I need help with is ericginnard.com.

    I can get your domain Eric Ginnard Contract PhotoJournalist.

    You might need to clear your cache or even close your browser first so that everything is reset to defaults;

    Also, your ISP may not have updated its DNS cache because some are very lazy to do so. If you want to try another DNS then I suggest use Nortons/Symantecs DNS numbers. They are:

    DNS Servers: 198.153.192.50,
    198.153.194.50,

    I use Nortons DNS servers all the time to protect me from Viruses and porn sites.

    Please note you don’t have to use Nortons DNS to get your domain because it will come sooner or later one day!!!

    Good luck.

    It can take up to 72 hours for the DNS to settle down. Don’t worry. We get this question multiple times a day.

    I’m seeing your site using Nishita at ericginnard.com right now, so the propagation is underway.

    Ok, so I still can’t access or view my profile, but others can. So since it’s a matter of time, can someone help me understand how this new domain is propagating through different ISPs at the same time?

    It takes a while for changes to work to the far corners of the internet – you will probably be the last one to see the changes

    For some reason, the blog owner is always the LAST to see the change. It’s nerve-wracking, but rest assured, it’s all going according to plan.
