I set up a second blog called healing journey radio and registered a wordpress blog and the the domain via Blue Host. Then I tried using the Blue Host interface and I really missed the one I had already spent a lot of time using, via my first blog and regretted not going into to the interface and setting up a second blog via”Create another blog” so that it would have the same interface as my old blog,

So I yesterfay I got a refund from Blue Host and they deleted and now I’m trying to re-register this domain, but it says it “already exists”.

Blue Host said I should be able to re-register by now. Can you help me set up

The blog I need help with is

WHOIS data is still showing that as a bluehost registered domain. I think you are going to have to rattle their chain a bit further.

In addition, if it is easier to undelete the domain on their end and have it registered through bluehost, you can map that domain to a site. You do not have to have the domain registered here:

Please let me know if you have further questions or if anything is unclear.

thanks rootjosh! I got the name server switched over as per the instructions. It sounds like it can take up to 72 hours to switch over. What’s the next step after that? Like, how do I get to be in my word press dash board?

I get to be in my word press dash board?

I’m not sure I am understanding what you are asking here. Can you explain a bit further?

I’d like to build from scratch and I’d like to maintain Right now if one goes to it redirects to On my dashboard, I can add new posts to, like always, but I can’t create/build a new independent blog called, let alone add a post. How do I separate these two out?

Currently, the domain is listed under your blog, which is why you’re having trouble setting up the new site. In order to have the new domain listed on it’s own with new content, you will need to create a new blog and associate the domain with that blog by transferring the upgrade. To do so, follow these steps:

    1. Register a new blog following the steps here:

To keep everything consistent, I would recommend registering

    2. Transfer the Domain Mapping upgrade for from to your new blog following the steps listed here:

    3. Set the primary domain for to following the steps listed here:

Then, you should be all set! Please let me know if you have any questions or trouble moving forward.
