    How do you add download links to my side panel which will enable viewers to download files I have uploaded onto my website.

    Thank you so much for your assistance but your blogs only tell me how to add a download file link to the main section of my blog and not to a sidebar. Any idea on how to do that. It may have something to do with widgets - whatever that is

  4. It's easy: you just put it in a text widget in your sidebar. Text widgets are blank, and you put in the information in HTML code. First, drag the widget to the sidebar. Then add the content and title, click Save, and then Close the widget.

    I find that since I hate to write code, it's easiest to compose them as if they are draft Posts, using all the visual editor buttons to format, add links, etc. Then I click over to the Text editor, copy the code, and paste that in the widget.

    I'm sorry but I don't know how to copy HTML code. I have a link on my website called "Seven Mistakes". How do I copy this into a text widget? I have already created the text widget
