Dyad 2 Header Image

  1. Hello! I am wondering if it is possible to make the header image appear on the different pages of my blog rather than just the home page using the dyad 2 theme... thank you!

The blog I need help with is modestlyme96.wordpress.com.

  2. Dyad 2 theme features are found at https://wordpress.com/theme/dyad-2 Please consult that page and take note of featured images there.

    Featured Header Images
Note: This feature only works with themes that allow custom header images and have featured header images enabled.

    Find Themes Supporting Featured Images
View all themes that support featured images https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/featured-images or visit the showcase and click Find a Theme → Features, then check the Featured Images box.

  3. @modestlyme96,

With the Dyad theme applied, the custom header image may only be displayed on the static front page or on the blog page, whether the blog page is the front page or elsewhere. It can not be displayed on other static pages. These limits of the header image applicability on Dyad aren't specifically noted in the theme guide. I found out where it will display and where it won't by testing.

  4. Correction:

I meant to say the Dyad 2 theme, not Dyad. My tests were done on Dyad 2, so the results I describe above pertain to that theme.

  5. The Custom Header also can't be displayed on archives pages such as your category pages Sunday Funday and Wordy Wednesday, the Modestly Me author archives page, or the July 2017 archives page.

  6. Thank you for taking the time to answer. I thought that might be the case when I viewed the theme; but, I wasn't sure if I was just missing something. Thank you again, God bless!

  7. You're welcome!

  8. This post is a test.
