I have an edit button on my page that I want off.. Anyone can click on it to change my blogs.
    Blog url: http://melscoffeeaddiction.wordpress.com/

The blog I need help with is melscoffeeaddiction.wordpress.com.

I need help in getting the edit link off my site for anyone to change my page thank you

Nope… you see the edit button because you are signed in to your account. Log out, clear your cache and cookies, go to your blog without logging in – no edit button!

That’s an Adnin [edit] link that cannot be seen by your visitors. It’s for your convenience when you are logged in and if you log out and clear your browser cache and cookies and then visit you can verify what I have said.

I just logged into my page thru my husband’s fb page and I can click on and edit my page…. Will clear cookies and see if that helps….

This is my 1st blog page, so I am learning..TY

All you have to do is log out and clear your browser cacahe and cookies, then visit the blog without logging-in and the Admin [edit] link won’t be there.

While we are on this subject I’ll address something else. WordPress.com uses cookies to keep track of commenters so if someone makes a comment on your blog, or uses a contact forum on yoru blog, the next time they come to your blog, unless they have cleared their cookies, WordPress.com will recognize them and complete the details in those forms for them. No one else will be able to view those details in comment boxes or in contact forms. The next person who comments will see blank fields. Commenters will not see each other’s details.

    thank you

    You’re welcome. :)
