Is it possible to edit the links under Meta? I’d like to remove the Comment and Post RSS feeds from the Meta widget.

The blog I need help with is tostir.wordpress.com.

No it’s not possible to edit the widget. However, you do not have to use it at all. You can remove it. However, note that all WordPress blogs have a built in RSS feeds for entries and comments and those feeds cannot be removed. They will still exist and people can still use them to subscribe via feed readers. Moreover, the format is common knowledge.
This is the URL for the RSS Feed for your posts (entries) http://tostir.wordpress.com/feed/
This is the RSS URL for your comments http://tostir.wordpress.com/comments/feed/

@suitablefish: As timethief states, the feeds are an integral part of wordpress.com’s blogs, and we can’t control whether someone subscribes to our (public) blog or not.

I have an rss button in my browser’s address bar that turns orange if there’s “feedable” content, and all I have to do is click it to subscribe to the site’s rss feed even if the site doesn’t have a feed link visible.

So while you can eliminate the meta widget and any overt links to your rss feed, it will still be there. I can’t swear to it, since I’m not acquainted with every blogging platform available, but this seems to be a feature for all blogs on free blogging hosts, which makes sense.

Why doesn’t WordPress.com allow us to do anything on here that you can easily do on a self hosted WordPress blog from WordPress.org?

There seems to be too many restrictions of all kinds around here. I mean what harm could it possibly do to let people edit the links in their Meta widget? I’m getting really frustrated with all of these restrictions.
