Editing Subtitle

    I’m having trouble setting up a new blog. I somehow got a subtitle in there but can’t find it again to edit it. Also don’t see where I can edit the font and color of my Title or the layout of the blog page itself. Please help. I signed up for this thinking it would give me more options than blogger. Thank you.

    The blog I need help with is morningstarcharacters.wordpress.com.

    To edit the tagline of your blog (subtitle) go to the settings section of your dashboard, click the general tab and it should be the second field on the page.

    To edit the title’s appearance, go to the appearance section of the dashboard, click the header tab and scroll down. If your theme has a custom header image, you can also create your own image with the color/font/size that you want in a graphics program of your choosing and upload it at this same page.

    Good luck with your new blog.

    In most cases, the theme you’ve got will not allow you to edit the font and colour of titles, and will not allow you to change the layout without a firm knowledge of CSS editing and the paid CSS upgrade. There are some, like Vigilance, that let you tinker somewhat.

    Hello there;
    If this is what you mean by subtitle –> “Featuring thoughts and wisdom from the Morning Star book series’ characters” – then it’s actually called a Tagline. The Blog Titles and Tagline can be changed at any time on this page at the very top –> Settings –> General
    Don’t forget to click ” Save Changes” when you are finished.

    There are four ways we can use to change font, families, colors and sizes on wordpress.com blogs. They are summarized in here. > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2010/02/04/changing-fonts-in-wordpress-com-blogs/
