I've run into an issue that I can't find an answer to anywhere - On my most recent post, while I was in Editor, I shrank my last 2 pics at the bottom of the post, so that they would be positioned next to each other. Looked fine in the Editor. But when Published, they lined up one over the other. How can I fix this, and how to avoid next time?

You shouldn't rely on the post editor for such details: the editor is a generic tool, not identical to what you actually get in your blog page (among many other things, because the width of the main blog area varies from theme to theme).
As you can see, the two images are two wide to fit side by side. Try reducing them to 80% or 70%, and set their alignment the one to left, the other to right.
If this doesn't work, you'll have to use the code for a table (in the html post editor):
<table> <tr><td>CODE1</td><td>CODE2</td></tr> </table>
where CODE1 & CODE2 are the complete codes for each image.
Had to use your second path, but it worked like a charm - much appreciation.
