I want to use wordpress to teach my students (16-19 year old digital and graphic arts) CMS and Web Design and give them access to the CSS so they can tweak this too. Do you offer educational licenses that will enable some of the advanced features for these students without needing to pay for them?

From a marketing perspective this approach could open up your tools to tens of thousands of future users of your software.

Adobe and many other desktop software applications provide educational licenses and I would really like to be able to use wordpress for my students without having to ask them to pay to edit and play with templates and CSS.

I hope this will be possible – thanks Rory

The blog I need help with is rorysite.wordpress.com.

Have you tried edublogs? That’s also a WPMU wordpress multi-user blogging platform like this one with free hosting and no ads. It’s set up specifically for teachers and students. http://edublogs.org/why-edublogs/
